Kayaking the Ocoee River

National Geographic Adventure magazine calls Tennessee's Ocoee River one of "America's Best Adventures." The gorge scenery, forested hills, wildflowers and 10 miles of Class III to IV rapids draw more than 300,000 visitors each year. The USDA Forest Service Ocoee Whitewater Center lists all local whitewater outfitters, many of which offer both rafting and kayaking.
