The Cohutta 100 Bike Race The Cohutta Wilderness Area

The Cohutta 100 has been a staple in the endurance mountain biking scene for over a decade. One of the first races of the National Ultra Endurance Series (NUE) season, it’s both a test and preparation for races to come. The course is made up of tight single track and demanding fire roads with over 12,000 feet of climbing. Riders are rewarded with fast descents and spectacular mountain views. The weather in Southeastern Tennessee in late April ranges in expression. Expect a chilly morning for sure on race day, but a quick warming up in the early miles. Eight Aid Stations provide supplemental support throughout the course, and a delicious meal and coveted “Finisher” mug await at the Finish Line.
