The Blue Ridge Trout Festival & Outdoor Adventure event kicks off with a High Country Boil, 5:30 to 9 pm on Friday, April 28, 2017, at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Park in the Lower Lot at Mercier Orchards, then take the Tractor Ride to the beautiful outdoor pavilion on the hill. A 360-degree view of the surrounding countryside awaits you! Dinner includes a bowlful of tasty seafood, meat and vegetables that includes corn, potatoes, sausage and shrimp. Your entree is accompanied with salad, crusty bread, iced tea and dessert. A limited number of chicken dishes are available for those with seafood allergies. Mercier Natural Hard Apple Cider and a variety of wines will be available for drink purchase. This is an event not to be missed! Wonderful food and a beautiful setting in which to enjoy it! Your friends will be there, and everyone will have a great time eating, drinking, listening to live music and bidding at the silent auction, where there's something for everyone: 2 nights in the Blue Ridge Tree House at Bear Paw Winery; a tent; an antique solid metal Budweiser cooler; fishing gear and much more. It's a lovely way to spend the evening, followed by visiting the Blue Ridge Trout Festival & Outdoor Adventures marketplace on Saturday in downtown Blue Ridge City Park. Pack a fishing rod and book a trout-fishing trip on Sunday with a local fishing guide. It's a perfect weekend in the north Georgia mountains and the Trout Capital of Georgia!
