During the 1950’s Long Creek was the largest apple producing area east of the Mississippi River, and famous actor and comedian Groucho Marx was an owner in the orchard that is now Chattooga Belle Farm. Long Creek remains a hidden jewel at the foot of the Blue Ridge and is also home to the picturesque Chattooga River, the first river in the southeast to be designated “Wild & Scenic” by Congress. Photography Policy: The farm is a beautiful place and we love to share the beauty and tranquility with others. We would love for you to create a permanent memory of your time at the the farm by memorializing it with a photo.
At the same time, it is quite an expense to provide this setting, so we request a $50 fee for professional photographs taken at the farm. For this fee, we coordinate your time, ensuring there isn't another function happening, note the time on our internal calendar and make sure the grounds are well kept and there isn't equipment hindering your view.
