On the top left hand corner of Georgia sits Murray County. Kind of a quiet county, but very nice to drive. Chatsworth is the county seat, but we drove through Eton as well. I think we had the most fun driving south through Murray with the winding highway, roadside motels, and beautiful places to pull over and take pictures.
The Chattahoochee National Forest runs through Murray, as does the Cohutta Wilderness Area, which has a very interesting history. In Chatsworth there’s also the Chief Vann House which is a treasure in Murray County in the fine antiques and Cherokee artistry it holds.
